Description of Function
As part of our Business Development Team, we are looking for a highly self-motivated Senior Sales Executive with a strong drive to independently cover the markets in the Nordics.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside Senior Management and manage the sales activities with a clear focus on Scandinavian Countries.
Specific tasks will include:
Raising assets for currently established funds and upcoming ones;
Contribute to the ongoing expansion and outreach efforts of EQ;
Developing existing networks and identify and cultivate appropriate prospective clients;
Build awareness of EQ in the Nordics;
Deliver personalized and timely client service and administration;
General management, administration and reporting responsibilities relating to client coverage;
Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions, workshops or conferences;
Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections;
Building and maintaining the CRM database;
Prepare DDQs, presentations and investment proposals.
Who you are
We are looking for a highly motivated and outspoken candidate with a proven track record in sales roles in the financial services industry and a compelling personal background.
Key attributes and skills you bring to this exciting role are:
A bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field;
Working experience in sales and business development in financial services/asset management;
Private equity sales experience;
Proven track record to raise assets for alternative/semi-liquid investment products in different countries;
The candidate can build on an existing network with independent asset managers, family offices, pension funds and banks;
Be willing and able to travel as needed for business development;
A highly self-motivated individual with a strong drive to independently cover the markets;
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English in a professional environment;
Great networking skills;
Demonstrated passion for impact investing;
Dynamic and flexible personality with an entrepreneur-oriented spirit;
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
Whom you will work with
You will work closely with the Business Development team located in Zurich as well as with the Managing Partners and Co-Founders. You will become part of a dynamic team and organization with colleagues in Canada, Ecuador, India, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Liechtenstein, Mexico, Pakistan, Philippines, Switzerland and the United States.
